Toot my own horn! I have spent the morning making cupcakes for the AWANA awards on Sunday night. I made them a little early because Luke and I are spending the weekend celebrating my birthday...which is Sunday. The Awana Director found these pictures and is recreating them. I just LOVED the ideas and can't wait to see Josie pull it all together. The kids and parents will LOVE them. Here are my cupcakes to contribute......

CHOO CHOO!!

Miller LOVES Trains!! This past weekend Luke's parents visited town so we took Miller to the North Alabama Railroad Museum in Chase Alabama. He was a bit overwhelmed but loved all the "choo choo's". We did not stay long because it started to rain but we had a great time and look forward to visiting again and taking a ride on this train!

Easter

We spent Sunday afternoon with family celebrating our Risen Lord!! We hunted eggs, took pictures and enjoyed a delicious meal. Miller had a Blast soaking up all the attention!!

He had to open each egg before putting it into his basket!

Easter Paint Party

Last week Miller's class celebrated Easter by having a paint party. We dressed them in play cloths and let them go to town, they had a BLAST!!

Egg Hunts

Friday the MOPS group I am a part of got together and had a Easter Egg hunt. While the eggs were being hid we enjoyed making a rainbow craft (ours is VERY abstract) and listened to the Easter Story told through Resurrection Eggs. Due to a very cold rainy day we had our hunt in a large activity room.

Miller had to open every egg before putting it into his basket. He loved all the candy and bubbles he found....

On Sunday Our Sunday School Class had a Lunch Social followed by a Egg Hunt. We had a BLAST. We are so Thankful the Weather held out. It was a WONDERFUL Lord's Day!!
