Oh What a BEAUTIFUL Day!!!

I have been taking advantage of the beautiful days. Whenever Miller is in a good mood we have a photo shoot. It is becoming easier to photograph Miller now that he can sit up on his own but at the same time he gets distracted really easily. Click on the collage to enlarge it.

Green Beans... Yum Yum

At our 4 month check up our doctor gave us the go ahead to start introducing fruits and veggies when we thought Miller was ready. So tonight we tried green beans for the first time. I was worried that we would not like them but to my surprise he loved them.

Sewing Play Date

Miller had his first playdate this Tuesday. Miller and Briley had fun playing while Brooke and I made Briley a cute dress. Miller was great, he shared all his toys and Briley loved being in a new environment with lots of new and different toys.

Spring has Sprung

One of my favorite parts of our house is our backyard. In fact it is one of the reasons we bought our house. We have a large screened in gazebo and great mature flowerbeds. This spring has been so much fun watching them change. Everyday I see something new.

Miller has just begun to sit up on his own and since today was such a beautiful day, I had to take some time for a photo shoot. I was not sure how he would like the grass. It did not seemed to phase him, in fact he was more interested in watching Kaylee run around the yard. He even got a couple of Kaylee Kisses. They are going to be best friends.

Our Little Giggle Box...

I have been tring to catch Miller rolling over for a couple of weeks. But as it goes as soon as I turn on the camera, he stop doing what I was trying to capture. Instead I got this cute video of him giggling. Hope it makes you smile to.

Five Months Old

So what is Miller up to at Five Months?

Miller is growing like a weed. He has rolled over but he is to lazy to do it. He is just fine laying on his back. He is a little giggle box and I never know what will make him laugh. He is a ham and loves a camera. It is hard for me to take a picture of him unhappy because almost everytime I pull out a camera he starts to smile. He loves to stand with assistance that is why I think he loves his ExerSaucer so much. His ExcerSaucer has made him become adventurous. He now wants to grab EVERYTHING. He is trying SOOO hard to sit up on his own. Last night he could hold himself up for about 10-15 seconds before loosing his balance. We will keep practicing and I am sure it will not be long before he has mastered that skill as well.

His hair is out of control. If he was a girl we would have it made. He has already had 3 haircuts and is due for another one.
He also is eating cereal and he loves it. He likes the apple and banana flavors and doesn't really care for the plain.

He sleeps through the night but not as well as he once did. About a month ago he was sleeping 10-12 consecutive hours and now he only sleeps 7-8. He always sleeps 12 at night so I can't complain about him not letting me sleep. A month ago he weighed 17 lb, 3 oz so I would not be surprised if he is weighing close to 19 now. We are wearing size 3diapers and 9-12 month clothing. He is a chunk but a joy and I love every minute of motherhood.

We've Moved...

No we did not move our residence AGAIN.

I started this blog before Miller was born but was not impressed by the layout options so I decided to start a easysite. I have been pleased with it but have always loved my friends cool layouts, slide shows, and video's on blogger so I have decided to take the plunge and move. I was very intimidated at first but it was been very rewarding and I feel a little smarter. There is still a lot for me to learn so hang in there while I try out all the options.

For those who want to customize there blog check out SJH Blog Design. This blog gave me step by step instructions on how to customize my blog.
