More Teeth

Sorry, (Hillary) It has been a while since I updated our blog. Not a lot has happened in the past week. Miller is still cutting teeth. He is working on THREE. On top of that he has a sinus infection. We spent the morning in the Doctor's office. He has allergies like his Momma and has been put on medication to get him through the winter. YEAH!! I am hoping this makes him feel better and helps us all sleep better at night.

This past Friday night we went to the homecoming game. Look what Luke gave me...



I felt like a high schooler again. It was fun. I really should remember my camera more often. We looked cute in our black and gold. Go Eagles!!!

We have two in diapers!! Kaylee has been extra lazy these days. She spends alot of her days laying around either on her bed or the couch. Miller loves Kaylee and tries to play with her every chance he gets. She is so sweet to him.

I even found her wrapped up in a blanket. She doesn't know how good she has it!!

He still scoots on his belly from time to time but he is getting the hang of it.

Such a big boy!!!

Please excuse the drool and grunge on his belly. He is cutting another tooth, which explains the drool, and it has been rough. I am not used to having to get up with him in the middle of the night!! Hopefully he will start feeling better and we can all sleep better at night!!

The grunge is because he scoots all over on his belly. He is all over the place these days.

He is so much fun!!

Ten Months Old!!!

I know I say this every month but...WHERE DID THIS MONTH GO!!! This month has just flown by and Miller has changed SO much. In just the last couple of weeks he has gotten extremely active. He loves walking and "military" crawling around. He has gotten really quick. I think he is just going to start running one day without warning!!!

I really love this age. He is starting to communicate with me and I feel like at times he understands me as well. We have a great schedule that is flexible and predictable. He is also becoming VERY independent. He likes to play by himself. He often gets lost in his own little world playing. I love to watch him play and talk. I wonder what is going on in his little head while walking around the ottoman (His favorite activity)?!?! I love when he looks up from playing and gives me the biggest smile. It just melts my heart.

Not only has he gotten more active this last month but he will just talk your ear off. He loves to talk. He always seems to be making new sounds. He can say Mama and Dada but does not know what he is saying. When we ask him to say Mama or Dada or ask him where is Mama or Dada? he just smiles and looks at us. I think he is starting to get it but maybe a little shy.

He gets shy pretty easily. We get comments ALL THE TIME from strangers who think he is just the cutest and that they LOVE his hair. A lot of times he will put his head down and try to hide. It is really cute.

Speaking of hair... HE NEEDS ANOTHER HAIRCUT. I know that it is a fact of life that boys need their hair cut often but at 10 MONTHS??? It is out of control. He is probably the youngest boy whose Mom has to do his do every morning.

He is still a great eater and sleeper. He eats just about anything. He eats stage 3 baby food and most of the time he eats whatever we are eating.

Miller has FIVE teeth and I think he is about to start cutting his SIXTH. His fifth tooth almost came in without me knowing. It is so hard to see his upper teeth when they are coming in. I noticed that he was drooly, had a runny nose, was a little fussy, and feverish. Sure enough when I pried his little mouth open there was tooth number five just breaking the skin. I am just thankful that his sleeping has not been affected like it has in the past.

We have a walker.... well sort of...

As you can see from this video Miller has gotten pretty good in a very short time. Unfortunatly he only stops when he runs into furniture or a wall. I am really going to have to keep an eye on him.

Weekend Fun!!

This weekend started like last weekend with AHS Football. Miller experienced his first Pep Rally. We met Luke and MiMi at the square to watch Aunt Maybay cheer. After a late nap we went to the stadium for the football game. Miller loved all the people and the band. He was more active this game then the first and almost wiggled himself out of our arms a few times.

On Saturday Mimi and Aunt Addie came over to make a dust ruffle for Addie and Lee. Miller enjoyed spending some quality time with Addie. We completed the day at my parents for dinner. Miller loves playing at my parents house. He loved it so much that he ended up in his toy basket. Silly boy...see pictures below!!

Sunday evening we enjoyed a picnic at the park with my parents church. Miller loved climbing all over me while Aunt Addie and Uncle Lee played games. Congrats Lee for winning the Egg toss.

Monday we went shopping and Miller got a new toy. He has enjoyed walking throughout the house on his new walker. It is so funny to watch him with this new mobility. He walks until he runs into something. I have already done a little redecorating and furniture rearranging in order to give him some more room and to keep anything from being broken. I will try to get a video of him moving along in the house.
