Happy Halloween!!!

More steps!!!

Miller is taking more steps everyday. Most of the time He gets so excited that he looses his balance. He takes the most steps when we are not encouraging him to walk and especially when we don't have the camera out.

On another note... Miller is a CRIB CHEWER!!! I had heard stories of babies chewing on their cribs but I NEVER thought my sweet baby could. Well I was wrong. I wrapped some fabric around the chewed end until we figure out what to do to fix it. Any suggestions??

Miller was playing in his favorite cabinet last night and I looked over and this is what I found. No I did not put him in the skillet. He did it all by himself. This is the same day I found him in a cabinet in the living room. He is such a stinker!!

One year ago today...

It seems like just yesterday I was going to my last baby shower thinking Miller was NEVER going to come. Now I can't believe it is a year later and we are about to celebrate his first birthday. What a great year this has been!!!

Weekend Recap

Friday was a busy day full of Scrap booking. Aunt Addie came over and played with Miller while I could catch up on some scrap booking. My goal is to have it completed by his birthday...Less than 3 weeks away!!

Friday evening we enjoyed our last regular season home game. It was a little chilly but we had a great time.

What a stud!!!

Saturday we spent the day shopping. Miller had a great time getting extra attention form my Mom and Sister. At Lunch we gave him a empty ice cream cone. I have heard that they are great for teething so I thought he might enjoy crunching on it. Instead he preferred breaking it with his hands and giving us the pieces. Maybe later they can help with his teething discomfort.

Sunday after Sunday School our Class enjoyed Lunch together at the Church. We had a great time eating BBQ with all the fixins. Of course Miller enjoyed the food and fun.


Sunday evening Luke and I left Miller with my parents so we could enjoy dinner out. While there they tought Miller how to walk up stairs. Doesn't he look so proud?!?!

Happy Birthday Dad!!

Last night my sister and I had fun....maybe a little too much fun decorating my parents house for a surprise birthday party. Can you guess how old my dad is?!?! It was a hit and he was VERY surprised. We enjoyed dinner and cake. Miller was not too fond of the hat but loved all the attention. I stole these pictures off my sister's blog. More Walking!!

Miller is beginning to walk!!! He has only taken 3-4 steps on his own but he is really showing interest. This weekend he walked behind his toy truck for the first time. I also removed the seat from his walker and he took off. The last time I let him try walking without the seat he fell on his belly because he could not steady himself and the walker moved right out from in front of him. He may be walking by his first birthday!!

Eleven Months Old...

...and one day. Sorry, I know most of you have been checking my blog every 30 minutes waiting on this post :).

Miller turned eleven months yesterday. I can not believe that my baby is going to be a year old in 4 short weeks. Wow has time flown.

Miller has changed SO much over the last month. He loves to just sit on the floor and play. He also loves to explore. I have to keep an eye on him because if I turn my head for a minute to long he will be gone and in another room. He is a very fast crawler and can walk very well as long as he is holding onto something. It will not be long and I will be posting about how he just took off and started runing.

He is still a great eater. He eats all table food and he prefers to feed himself. We have not found anything that he does not like.

Miller has nine teeth. He has 4 top front teeth, 4 bottom front teeth, and one back top tooth. If his back teeth come in like his front have the other 3 should start making there entrance in the next couple of weeks.

Miller loves to talk. He can say mama and dada but he is still not quite sure what he is saying but it will not be long. He has also learned to clap. When he claps we clap and say YEAH!! He will smile from ear to ear and make a sound very similar to Yeah. It is really cute but I can not seem to get it on video. As soon as I do I will make sure to post it.

Last weekend we went to another Athens football game. I got these cute pitures of Miller with Grandpa Don.

Miller loved holding the "O" sign to help the cheerleaders know to do offence cheers. He had the cuted smile.

We had such a great time at the cotton fields. I think we got some great pictures and I am having a hard time picking my favorites. Stay tooned for more fall pictures!!

Under Construction!!!

Fall is in the air and I just can't wait to redesign my blog to reflect the season. We are having Miller's pictures taken this afternoon at a cotton field and tomorrow around the square.
