The cutest pullchain medallion...

This has to be the CUTEST Pull chain Medallion ever!! He was having SO much fun. It was hard to get him to stop. I just hate I recorded it sideways.

On the Mend...

His little teeth are poking through more each day as you can see. He is still a little fussier than normal and he wakes up a couple of time during the night but I am confident that with time he will get back to his schedule.

Luke and I have also come a long way. Luke went back to work today and I have started doing some chores around the house today. We still have a little ways to go but it will come with time.

Weekend in Auburn...

We started our weekend in Auburn Friday by visiting with friends and taking some pictures at Samford Hall. Friday evening the wedding festivities began. We enjoyed a wonderful shrimp bowl and great fellowship with friends. On Saturday Marybeth (sister and babysitter for the weekend) and I went to a open house where I was able to catch up with friends and enjoy some yummy snacks. While we were at the open house Luke enjoyed playing golf at Robert Trent Jones golf course. That evening we enjoyed a beautiful ceremony and a equally beautiful reception. This is where things started to turn UGLY. Miller started teething and was extremely fussy and had a horrible runny nose. He did not want to sleep or eat, nothing seem to satisify him. Luke and my dad came on back to Athens on Sunday with a load of furniture and Me and my sisters stayed to get there condo ready for renters this fall. This is where it gets uglier. I started feeling VERY weak on Monday morning but thought it was lack of sleep (due to Miller's teething) and the Tylenol PM I took the night before(my body is VERY sensitive). By mid afternoon I was feeling so bad that I went to the urgent care. I have Strep. We quickly packed up and headed home a day early. On top of me getting sick Luke got a stomach bug. What are the odds?? As you can imagine we have been pretty pitiful today. We are on the mend but are still not up to par. My mom was gracious to spend the night with us last night to take care of Miller and she hung around all day to help out and take care of our pitiful family. Luckily Miller was a lot better today then he was this weekend. He seems to be getting back into his schedule and I know that he is glad to be home in his bed.

Despite the rough weekend we got some really cute pictures...

What do you expect with a house full of girls??

Seven Months Old!!

Wow where has this last month gone?!?! Time has just flown by. Miller is learning new things every day. He is more alert and adventurous than ever. He loves being outside and on the go.

Miller has begun eating pears, peaches, apple sauce, squash, and carrots. He loved them all. He particularly likes peaches. He is eating baby food three times a day along with nursing. He has a serving of cereal in the morning, some fruit at lunch time, and cereal with a vegetable at dinner time.

As I reported earlier this week, Miller is teething. He has two little bottom teeth trying to push there way through. One has broken the skin but the other is just being a nuisance. He has his fussy times but all in all he has taken it very well. (He truly is a easy going baby.) His sleeping schedule is all off, but I am blaming that on his teething. I'm sure he will get back to normal once he adjust to his new teeth.

Miller sets up very well on his own. He can not go from laying down to sitting up but he can go from sitting up to almost crawling. He has not figured out how to get his belly and bottom off the ground. He rolls around a lot now. I used to say he could do it but was just too lazy. Well now he has decided to go for it. He can roll both ways from back to stomach and back again. I know it seems a little late but Miller found his toes this week. He has found them before while sitting down, but this week he has found them while laying down. He has even put them in his mouth.

Miller love animals. He is the only one who likes Kaylee Kisses. He just lights up when he sees Missy, Asheton, or Kaylee. They are SO sweet with him even when Miller is not being sweet with them.

Miller's personality is revealed more and more each day. Overall he is a people person and loves to see new things and does not want to miss a thing, but he has his times of shyness. It is actually cute to see him look at someone and then he buries his chin in his chest. He loves his daddy so much that he lights up when Luke comes home from work. He also gets so excited that he gets a little bashful and will again bury his chin in his chest, or in mine.

Miller is such a joy and I wish I could share every detail of how he has changed with you. Each month he has learned SO many things and I know he will learn even more this next month. WOW... I am in tears just thinking how TRULY AMAZING God is...how can anyone NOT believe in our Almighty GOD?? I feel I am experiencing one of God's amazing miracles and thank Him daily for giving us the opportunity to raise such a precious little boy.

My favorite aunt?!?!

Sucker from Aunt Maybay
It's as big as my head!!!
Watermelon from Aunt Addie!!

My sisters are always arguing about which one of them will be Miller's favorite Aunt. They always seem to be bribing him with table foods. I guess only time will tell which one is the favorite.

We are teething

I know it might be hard to see but Miller is teething. He has two bottom teeth coming in. Tooth Number 2 broke through the skin on Saturday and Tooth number one is still tring to push it's way through. We have given him teething rings but he prefers to chew on a spoon, so my Mom bought him his first tooth brush. He loved it. It will not be long and we will be brushing his two pearly whites.

Gone Fishin

Friday we went to a Tool and Gadget party honoring Addie and Lee. Luke and Marybeth had a great time fishing while Miller and I enjoyed visiting with Lee's family.

Spish Spash...

Today Aunt Addie came over and we set up Miller's baby pool. Miller loves his bath time so it was no surprise that he loved the pool. His new favorite toy right now is a spoon (You can see it in most of the pictures, I guess he just really loves to eat). He enjoyed splashing and had a great time tiring to catch the water.

Fun Pictures...

I love downloading my pictures onto my computer because I never know what I will find. With My mom and sisters on Summer Break I have a lot of extra help around the house. They are such great helpers and I love being able to get out of the house alone from time to time. They are also good at surprising me with silly pictures. These are some of the random pictures I found today...

Miller was fascinated by the broom so we let him help us sweep...to cute.

The craziness of Summer began last week. I gave my sister Addie a wedding shower this past Saturday so My Mom, Sisters, and I spent last week cleaning and setting up the house. Addie wanted something different so we had a scrap booking shower. We asked all the guest to contribute pictures of the happy couple throughout the years. It was fun to see how much each of them had changed and to reminisce on days gone by. Not only did we have a great time but she has a beautiful scrapbook to display at her wedding. I will post pictures when I get them.

This is Miller's way of saying "I'M DONE" after meal time.

He is SO cuddly...Even Luke and Kaylee had a little fun.
