Chair Pictures

I know, I know... I am really late. I have been super busy and have not been very good at keeping this website as up to date as I would like to. I promise I will do better.

Miller turned 15 months 2 weeks ago. He was sick and teething so I just did not take the time to do my normal post. I did take his monthly chair pictures. As you can see from the pictures below it is getting harder and harder to capture how much he has grown because I can't get him to set still. He is so active and doesn't want to miss a thing. We just LOVE this little guy!!

Luke the Builder

I wanted to take a moment to brag on my WONDERFULLY TALENTED husband...

Among his many talents Luke is a builder. Yes, he builds commercially by trade but he also builds furniture as a hobby. Recently he built some friends a bookcase. It turned out BEAUTIFUL. If you read this blog regularly you remember this picture shoot. I wanted to share the final product with you. These pictures were taken in our dark garage so it is hard to see the full beauty. You will have to take my word.

It is hard to see but the piece was painted brown and then Luke and Daniel (the owner) glazed it with a ragging technique. It had a burled wood look when it was complete.

I have a long list of items for Luke to build us and I can't wait to share them with you.

Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary, Luke!!

These last years have flown by and I LOVE you more now then I did the day we took the above picture. Thank you for being such a great provider and giving me the opportunity to stay home with Miller. Thank you for loving me when I am unlovable. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for our next 50 years.

We celebrated our Anniversary a little early. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Connors on Thursday Evening. I meant to take some cheesy pictures before we left on our date but I forgot.

Valentine's Day would not be complete without cards and flowers. Luke surprised me Roses and I made card's for the family.

More Teeth...

I have been saying for weeks that I thought Miller was teething due to all the drool he produces. A little tooth finally poked though this weekend. Along with the discomfort and drool Miller has gotten a nasty diaper rash. We have naked time every evening to help it dry up. He LOVES to play on our bed. It is so funny to watch his face light up when we put him down on our bed. I snapped these pictures the other night during naked play time.

Saturday at MeeMee and Granpa Don's

Miller and I spend the day at my parents house while Luke painted the book case and went to the driving range. We had a fun time playing outside. We can't wait until the weather warms up. Miller LOVED playing outside and having lots of freedom.

Friday Night Basketball

Friday night we went to Aunt Maybay (my sister Marybeth's) last basketball game. The seniors were recognized so we went to act as photographer. We had fun and Miller enjoyed watching EVERYTHING going on.
