Happy Halloween!!!

More steps!!!

Miller is taking more steps everyday. Most of the time He gets so excited that he looses his balance. He takes the most steps when we are not encouraging him to walk and especially when we don't have the camera out.

On another note... Miller is a CRIB CHEWER!!! I had heard stories of babies chewing on their cribs but I NEVER thought my sweet baby could. Well I was wrong. I wrapped some fabric around the chewed end until we figure out what to do to fix it. Any suggestions??

Miller was playing in his favorite cabinet last night and I looked over and this is what I found. No I did not put him in the skillet. He did it all by himself. This is the same day I found him in a cabinet in the living room. He is such a stinker!!

One year ago today...

It seems like just yesterday I was going to my last baby shower thinking Miller was NEVER going to come. Now I can't believe it is a year later and we are about to celebrate his first birthday. What a great year this has been!!!

Weekend Recap

Friday was a busy day full of Scrap booking. Aunt Addie came over and played with Miller while I could catch up on some scrap booking. My goal is to have it completed by his birthday...Less than 3 weeks away!!

Friday evening we enjoyed our last regular season home game. It was a little chilly but we had a great time.

What a stud!!!

Saturday we spent the day shopping. Miller had a great time getting extra attention form my Mom and Sister. At Lunch we gave him a empty ice cream cone. I have heard that they are great for teething so I thought he might enjoy crunching on it. Instead he preferred breaking it with his hands and giving us the pieces. Maybe later they can help with his teething discomfort.

Sunday after Sunday School our Class enjoyed Lunch together at the Church. We had a great time eating BBQ with all the fixins. Of course Miller enjoyed the food and fun.


Sunday evening Luke and I left Miller with my parents so we could enjoy dinner out. While there they tought Miller how to walk up stairs. Doesn't he look so proud?!?!

Happy Birthday Dad!!

Last night my sister and I had fun....maybe a little too much fun decorating my parents house for a surprise birthday party. Can you guess how old my dad is?!?! It was a hit and he was VERY surprised. We enjoyed dinner and cake. Miller was not too fond of the hat but loved all the attention. I stole these pictures off my sister's blog. More Walking!!

Miller is beginning to walk!!! He has only taken 3-4 steps on his own but he is really showing interest. This weekend he walked behind his toy truck for the first time. I also removed the seat from his walker and he took off. The last time I let him try walking without the seat he fell on his belly because he could not steady himself and the walker moved right out from in front of him. He may be walking by his first birthday!!
