Evening Activities
By evening time Miller is usually pretty tired and Luke and I find ourselves doing just about anything to pass the time without Miller being to fussy. Tonight while Luke was at church (Church starts at 7:00 and Miller's bedtime is 7:30 which makes it very hard to participate in evening activities.) Miller and I documented what we did so daddy would not feel left out. I have to start by saying he was in an extremely good mood... We began by jumping in his new "johnnie jump up"...
Then we rode around the house in his new car. He was so cute because the whole time he had his motor boat running. Since I was here by myself it was hard to get a good video of him in action but this shows you how active he is.
After a little ride it was bath time. He began by playing with the baby in the mirror.
Then into the water he went. I am so glad that he enjoys his bath as much as he does.
All Clean!!

Sunday Splashes...
Busy Wedding Weekend!!
I think my whole family is glad this weekend is over. We had a great time but we were all exhausted and glad that everything went just as planned.
Our wedding weekend started with a bridesmaid luncheon at my Great Aunts house. She did a lovely job and we enjoyed a very tasty meal. That evening Miller had his first non- family babysitter during rehearsal and dinner. I know he enjoyed playing with Miss Laynie. Saturday was the big day. It was a LONG day full of pictures, flowers, food, and more food. I never realized how much food is involved with weddings. It's funny because all the pictures I have are of the flowers and food. I will have to post pictures from the wedding once the photographer gets the pictures to my parents. Until then I will share the pictures I did take.

Eight Months Old
Wow... another month has just flown by. This has been the craziest and busiest month. Miller attended his first VBS, had three teeth come in, and had his first ear infection. His sleeping schedule has been off due to the fact that we are always on the go. Just this past week he has regained a little bit of normalcy.
Miller is such a busy body. He will wear you out in no time. The only time he is still is when he is asleep. He is even active when I am tring to feed him. I can only imagine how much more active he is going to get over this next month. He is still not crawling but he is getting really close. He will wiggle his way toward an object if he wants it bad enough. He can get his bottom and belly off the ground but he has not figured out how to do his upper body at the same time.
He pulled himself up while "driving" his car. He has also pulled himself up on me several times. He can stand with supervision but is still a little topsy.
It is so exciting to watch Miller grow and learn new things but at the same time it is sad. My baby is turning into a little boy. He looks less like a little baby and more like a little boy every day.

On the Mend..........Again
Yes we are on the mend, AGAIN. Miller's bottom teeth have proudly made there entrance and secretly one of his top teeth has pushed it's way out. We had to go to the doctor last Wednesday for our first sick baby visit. The doctor concluded that his congestion and sleeplessness was due to teething and Miller was put on a de-congestive medicine. This worked like a charm. Unfortunately we had to visit the doctor again today because his ear started leaking fluid this weekend. He has a mild ear infection and has started medication.
Despite the fact that Miller did not feel well this weekend we had a great Fourth. On Friday evening we had a wonderful dinner with family and friends . Unfortunately the only pictures I have are of the flower arrangements I made for the tables.
These hydrangea's are from my parent's next door neighbor. The Roses are from my parent's rose bush (I have never seen a rose bush put off such beautiful, big, red roses.) Lastly, the glads and babies breath are from my yard.Despite the fact that Miller did not feel well this weekend we had a great Fourth. These are my hydrangea's. I am a little jealous of Mr. Gary's big, beautiful, dark blue flowers.
These are just for fun. I could not resist picking these beautiful pink glads and yellow cannons from my yard.
Other than dinner we took it easy this weekend. We even skipped the fireworks. Miller's bedtime is 7:30 and we were afraid the loud booms of the fireworks might upset him.
